Extreme wind values - 35 years of reanalysis

The 35 annual maxima of 10 m wind speed (ERA5 reanalysis via Open-Meteo) are fitted with a GEV distribution; the 90% confidence interval comes from a bootstrap (500 resamples). The key reading: the 50-year value - and above all the uncertainty around it, which any design study must state explicitly.
